Christmas-y Things

I've got us fully booked on the weekend holiday circuit. We kicked things off on Saturday with a parade, checked out the Christmas Village in Baltimore, and even got to meet the big guy himself. I have always loved this time of year, but for me, nothing else compares to seeing Christmas through the eyes of my daughter. It's my goal to make her little memories as magical as possible and so far, I have to say she has been eating it up!

I was a little worried about the parade, but we were able to stand away from the dense part of the crowd and Caroline was still able to see and check out all the action. It was kind of a hokey, small-town sort of vibe, but it was fun to get into the spirit, especially after such a low-key, lonely holiday last year.

Watching her little face light up when Santa finally rolled through on his float was easily one of my top moments of the year.

Afterward, we grabbed a bite to eat with the grandmoms and watched the parade-goers wipe out on the ice skating rink. On the way out, we had a very lucky interaction with Santa himself. Caroline was starstruck 😂 No really, she surprised us by being absolutely BESIDE HERSELF with joy. I mean look at this face!

On Sunday we headed downtown to check out the Christmas Village. We did some shopping, ate some crepes, and rode the carousel over and over.

I love seeing Baltimore all decked out for the holidays! Hope your weekend was full of all the good things.

Xoxo,

Lisa
